My Site Was Hacked

If you suspect someone has hacked into your site, we need to know as soon as possible. Failing to tell us of a potential risk to our systems makes you liable. If our systems fail or we have to audit multiple websites due to a risk tracked to your account, you may be billed.

If you suspect a virus, malware, or other risk, call us immediately (865) 498-3393. Reporting this to us will not cost. In most cases we can correct the problem by isolating your website. You will encounter a period of downtime, but everything should be fixable from backups.

Note that having viruses and malware on your site greatly affects your Google ranking. Use a computer with up to date virus protection software, and complete regular full system scans.

Your site can also be under attack while not actually being infected with malware. This is referred to as a DDoS attack and can be mitigated by using a Web Application Firewall or a CDN with those features such as CloudFlare.
