Understanding The Travel Agreement

The travel agreement is a document that explains the requirements for extended travel and lodging if one of our developer needs to go out of state or country for a job. While this is completely optional since most meetings can be conducted via programs like Zoom, some clients prefer a face-to-face meeting with their developer.

The travel agreement summarizes the requirements for travel, the requirements for the hotel, food, and fuel, as well as explains the rights the client has in choosing such services. The agreement between client and designer/developer in this agreement is final, and the developer will not exceed the budget set in the agreement.

The overall purpose of this document is to make sure our employees are safe when traveling away from home by ensuring their hotel is in a good area, they have food and fuel to not get stranded, and most importantly, that they return safely with no health risks (bed bugs, etc.).
